Bijrani Safari Zone
Bijrani is quite famous for grasslands, thick Sal forests, and the prospects of tiger and elephant and deer spotting. The tourists are very fond of the landscape and the area’s biodiversity.
- Entry Gate: Amdanda Gate, located just 1 km from Ramnagar, serves as the entry point to this zone.
- Best for: Tiger sightings and scenic beauty.
- Operational Period: Open from 15th October to 30th June. Closed during the monsoon season for safety and to allow the forest to regenerate.

Dhikala Safari Zone
This is the largest and most popular zone in Jim Corbett. It is known for its breathtaking views of the Ramganga Reservoir, providing an immersive experience of the wilderness. This zone has rich wildlife, including tigers, crocodiles, wild elephants, and various species of deer and birds.
- Entry Gate: Dhangarhi Gate, approximately 18 km from Ramnagar, is the entry point.
- Best for: Overnight stays and wildlife photography.
- Operational Period: Open from 15th November to 15th June. Entry is only allowed with prior booking and accompanied by forest guides.

Jhirna Safari Zone
Jhirna is special because it is open throughout the year. It is a combination of forests and grasslands. It would hold a habitat for animals such as sloth bears and wild boars, tigers, and elephants.
- Entry Gate: Jhirna Gate, situated 16 km from Ramnagar.
- Best for: Year-round wildlife exploration.
- Operational Period: Open year-round, including during the monsoon, as it is relatively safer to explore this zone.

Dhela Safari Zone
Dhela is the latest addition to Jim Corbett National Park and therefore gains a lot of popularity among the tourists. Its varied flora and fauna such as birds, leopards, and elephants attract many nature lovers.
- Entry Gate: Dhela Gate, about 13 km from Ramnagar.
- Best for: Birdwatching and peaceful safari experiences.
- Operational Period: Open year-round, offering consistent opportunities for wildlife exploration.

Garjiya Safari Zone
Named after the famous Garjiya Devi Temple nearby, this zone is known for its tranquil environment, river views, and wildlife sightings. Tigers, elephants, and deer are commonly spotted here.
- Entry Gate: Amdanda Gate, the same entry point as the Bijrani Zone.
- Best for: Scenic landscapes and close proximity to Ramnagar.
- Operational Period: Open from 15th October to 30th June.

Durga Devi Safari Zone
This zone, being situated along the banks of Ramganga River, is considered a paradise for bird watchers. The undulating hilly landscape and pristine forest surroundings of this zone help spot rare and exotic bird species as well as fish-eating crocodiles.
- Entry Gate: Durga Devi Gate, located approximately 36 km from Ramnagar.
- Best for: Birdwatching and rugged terrain exploration.
- Operational Period: Open from 15th November to 15th June.

Sitabani Buffer Zone
- Entry Gate: Sitabani Gate
- Best for: Spiritual exploration and birdwatching.
- Operational Period: Open year-round, making it a great option for off-season visits.

Phato Zone
The serene environment, massive grasslands, dense forest cover, and flowing Ramganga River in Phato are much different from popular core zones. It is well suited for observing elephants, deer, leopards, and many species of birds, though the tiger will occasionally be sighted.
- Entry Gate: Phato Gate.
- Best for: A peaceful safari experience and birdwatching away from the crowds.
- Operational Period: Open year-round, providing a great option during the monsoon or off-season when core zones are closed.

Hathi Dagar Zone
This zone is characterized by rugged terrain, lush greenery, and frequent sightings of elephants, after which it is named. It offers an immersive jungle experience with occasional sightings of leopards, deer, and various bird species.
- Entry Gate: Hathi Dagar Gate.
- Best for: Elephant sightings, serene jungle trails, and photography.
- Operational Period: Open year-round, depending on weather conditions.
